Mindfulness is a proven strategy to reduce stress and develop positivity. We are living in uncertain times and everyone feels that stress, even young ones. Mindfulness is a great way to teach children of all ages how to find a sense of calm in a world that feels very un-calm.
Question: What is mindfulness?
Answer: It is a type of meditation. It involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and the mind.
It's about being aware of all that the present moment is--our feelings, the sensations in our bodies, the sounds, sights, and smells of the world around us.
